Accessibility Test Analyst
14-month Contract

Join a dedicated Enterprise Architecture team to play a pivotal role in ensuring digital inclusivity across a major public service landscape. This 14-month contract offers the opportunity to lead accessibility compliance testing and shape best-practice standards for web, mobile, and desktop solutions, directly impacting how the community interacts with essential digital services.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive accessibility compliance testing for various projects to meet Australian ICT Standards and legislation.

  • Support and manage accessibility exemption processes and provide guidance on assistive-technology requirements for internal cohorts.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ICT Accessibility Program activities and best-practice testing processes.

  • Perform both automated and manual testing across web, mobile, desktop software, and digital documents.

  • Promote accessibility testing as a professional discipline while ensuring all work aligns with approved frameworks and methodologies.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

  • Demonstrated expertise in accessibility testing for web, mobile, and desktop solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of Australian ICT Standard AS EN 301 549:2020 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

  • Proven experience in delivering testing in accordance with specific frameworks, tools, and templates.

  • Ability to contribute to skills pathways and operational excellence within an Information Services environment.

  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification or an equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
